SpEC Launches Green Products

Dubai: 1st June 2010 Speciality Engineering Chemicals (SpEC), a leading construction chemicals manufacturer, has launched a new Eco-Friendly label across a wide range of its products, emphasizing the importance of promoting development in the construction industry without compromising the environment. The Sales & Marketing Manager, Mr. Elia Kazan said: “The new “Eco-Friendly” label indicates that products bearing the logo are solvent-free, lead free and contain low amount of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which are known to have an influence on the atmosphere”. “SpEC’s latest move comes in support of global initiatives to protect the environment. In line with these initiatives and since SpEC takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously, we decided to introduce our own eco-friendly label. This label will indicate to contractors, consultants, designers and end-users that these products comply with all the current recognized VOC standards.
